MS In the News - (more impactful as the weeks go by)

Stu's Views and MS Related News
Thursday March 19, 2009

In this edition we welcome the The Heuga Center for MS, for all their hard work. Their Logo can now be found on our homepage and on our blog for you to quickly access their website. Also now found on our website's homepage is a section for Shared MS Resource Links. This can be found on the right hand column of the homepage. This shared resource listing will be expanding over the next few weeks.

If you or a staff member of an organization that would like to share your link with us, please write to: Stuart. - Thank you

When viewing our MS Blog in it's original format, you will find that it is becoming easier to use and understand. MS Videos are now available on the lower right of the blog page. Changes are also being made to our website. Remember to use our Blog or our Library of MS Archives to find whatever you would like to know about Multiple Sclerosis.

Once you learn how to use either of these two sites, you will be amazed at the amount of information that is found on either, to help you to better understand this illness. The key to finding the information is to locate the search box found on the blog's upper left hand corner or on the Library of MS Archives found in the middle of the right columned tool bar. Type a keyword into either search box then click enter. After clicking enter, all the articles (found on that site) containing that keyword that you entered will them open. For instance - if using the Library of MS Archives, you find the search box and type PAIN. Click enter or on the word search. All the articles found in this link, will then appear for you to review.

It truly is amazing how simple these are to use...
Then when you have time, take a look at our websites' global MS organization resource links available for your use or for someone else whom you know. MS Facts are available in many languages. This specific page will be made more user friendly in the weeks to come.

Another reminder is for you to use the (an RSS feed) - on our MS BLOG, MS Website or our Library of MS Archives address bar (also known as a URL).
Click the feed -to subscribe for immediate receipt of Blog postings, as they are put onto the sites. With so many articles being posted each day, with so many new things happening in research, the best way to NOT get bogged down each Thursday is to have access to these articles as they post. And the best way to do this is to subscribe to our Blog's RSS feed.

Have you seen the research study information found on our Homepage. Click our weblink found in our header to see the study on Laquinimod, or the studies still underway at Neurological Associates Research..

I ask that all receiving this email, to forward it on to others whom you know are affected by MS. Those affected are NOT just the patient. Those affected are: caregivers, other family members, friends, medical providers and staff from MS Organizations. Share with others what you feel important enough to be receiving each Thursday...

From a reader in Israel with regards to last week's e-Newsletter
Hi Stuart,
This edition is really super! Thanks so much for all the great links. The stress management section from the NMSS is fantastic. I have to say that you're really expanding the site and our connections to what's happening and what we can do in "the state of MS", as in a nation.
Shalom from the desert,
Maris
